Covid is a drag, but we're still fucking

I love taking the time to plan elaborate and decadent sexual escapades, setting a scene, arranging the lights and furniture and equipment just so. I love waiting for you in a perfectly orchestrated outfit, sliding my manicured hands over shiny pantyhose as I buckle the straps of my leathers, anticipating your hungry mouth.

Know what else I love? Cruising. Spontaneity. Seeing you three seats over at the bar, making some deliberate eye contact, and leading you into the bathroom to bend you over the sink. Going out just to fuck, because I want to and I can.

Covid has made all of this more difficult, and it is unfortunately still ongoing. How to have thrilling, passionate, spur-of-the-moment encounters while also being conscientious of the fact that we exist in a sexual ecosystem and our personal decisions can affect the livelihoods of others.

This post is and is not about sex; it is a primer on sexual health and being a slut in an ongoing pandemic (so that we don't have to talk about it in session). My qualifications and why you should trust me: I have a nurse outfit and a Capricorn stellium.

Basically, there are two types of covid tests: rapid and PCR. Rapid tests are good at detecting an active infection, but there is a high likelihood of false negative results in the days between exposure and onset of symptoms, if symptoms even onset. This means a person could be testing negative on their at-home rapid while actively contagious, even if they are vaccinated and/or boosted, even if they are asymptomatic. To mitigate this, I recommend taking a much-more-sensitive PCR test or two per week as a baseline, in addition to taking a rapid test immediately before socializing.

While it is difficult to simply “know your status” when it comes to covid, testing often is a reliable way to detect early in a worst case scenario. This way you can inform anyone you have been in contact with so that they can take precautions, and you can access antiviral treatment if so desired. Some people may think this is gratuitous, but a lot of providers require negative PCR tests in order to confirm an appointment; if you are already in the habit of taking PCR tests, you can more confidently approach a companion when the mood strikes. And while I don't believe individual people are responsible for public health on a global scale, I do believe that recreational buyers of boutique sexual experiences can be as mindful of their escorts' health and well-being as we are of theirs.

I am writing this with the hope that it might explain a bit more thoroughly why my covid policies are what they are, and also because I have found them to keep my sessions incredibly low-risk while allowing me to live a fun and fulfilling life, something I hope to share with you.

Anyway, I hope that this little good practices manual for companionship during covid is instructive and informative! Here's to getting laid more, and emailing less <3
